Halloween is just around the corner, and this year Americans are predicted to spend nearly $2.6 billion on candy alone. Each year, Americans flock to supermarkets and convenience stores to buy candy to hand out to trick-or-treaters. The National Retail Federation’s seasonal trends report estimates that more than 160 million Americans will buy candy for Halloween this year.
