World trade cargo tonnage will rise by only 3.7 per cent to 65.9 million tonnes in 2019, the slowest pace since 2016, reveals the International Air Transport Association (IATA). This projected annual figure reflects the weak world trade environment impacted by increasing protectionism, asserts the airline body.
