Requirements to qualify as an approved Mode Transportation Carrier:
- Compliant operating authority (interstate or intrastate)
- Minimum Insurance Coverage Amounts:
Automobile Liability - $1,000,000
Cargo Liability - $100,000
- Workers Compensation as required by law
- General Liability coverage with a minimum amount of $1,000,000 is preferred
- DOT safety rating of "Satisfactory" or "None"
- 'Broker' only authority not eligible to register
- Financially stable

HOW WE WORK

TRITAN™ is our proprietary Transportation Management System (TMS) - developed with full end-to-end functionality for all aspects of the transportation chain.
- Supports EDI transactions and communications
- Carriers can post their available equipment, which our network of offices will have visibility to when looking to capture capacity
- 'Approved' carriers can view and search Mode Transportation's loads posted by our network of offices across North America
- Carriers can manage tenders and provide load status updates
- 'Approved' carriers can self-manage their carrier profiles in our Carrier Management Systems (CMS) to include managing contacts, identifying services and capabilities, and providing preferred lane information - all visible across our network

Flexible Payment Options Available
Cash flow is an important function in any business. With our vendors in mind, Mode Transportation Services offers an expedited payment program for our carriers to help improve their account receivables.
Our carriers can choose to participate in one of three options and receive their payments in 3, 5 or 10 days via EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer.) These options are:
- 3 Day Payment: A 4.75% discount will be deducted from the invoice
- 5 Day Payment: A 3% discount will be deducted from the invoice
- 10 Day Payment: A 2% discount will be deducted from the invoice
The 3-5-10 program allows for business days only, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and Mode Transportation Holidays. Program terms and rates are subject to change without prior notice and subject to the contract terms.
